Stays abroad for UZH staff of the central and faculty administration

UZH staff of the central and faculty administration have the opportunity to spend two to three months abroad. The stay can take place at one of the Swissnex locations or at a partner university of the LERU network.  For stays at one of the Swissnex locations, Global Affairs establishes the contact.

Aims

  • Professional, methodological, social and personal development
  • Sharing experience and learning from each other
  • Networking and internationalization of individual departments

Requirements

  • Unlimited employment contract and at least three years of work at the UZH
  • Good qualifications and performance
  • Relevance of the internship for the professional development of the employee and for the professional environment at the UZH
  • Support from the superior

Costs

The costs of travel and subsistence expenses incurred by a stage abroad as well as any deputisation must be borne by the department concerned. It is not possible to apply for additional funds for internships abroad.
