The British Academy is inviting proposals for its Knowledge Frontiers: International Interdisciplinary Research Projects program. This program supports projects that engage with questions concerning the relationship between expertise, public understanding, and policy delivery internationally. Through this call, the British Academy also aims to support international collaborations between researchers in the UK and abroad focused on developing and leading international and interdisciplinary research projects related to the theme of Just Transitions. 

• Application for: Early-career, established researchers, mid-career, postdoctoral or equivalent research, senior researchers
• Focus area: Humanities or the social sciences
• Grant: Up to £300,000
• Eligible activities for funding: Time of the Principal Investigator and Co-Applicants; postdoctoral (or equivalent) research assistance; travel, fieldwork, and related expenses; and networking costs
• Duration: 24 months with a project starting date in March/April 2025
• Deadline: September 18, 2024 (17.00 UK time)
