[Pre-Call] Swiss-Korean Joint Research Projects Funding Alert

The Science and Technology Office of the Embassy of Switzerland in Seoul informs about new funding opportunities for Joint R&D Projects between Switzerland and Korea to develop ready-to-market solutions or products.

Who is the call aimed at?

The call for joint innovation projects is aimed at companies and research institutions in Switzerland and South Korea looking to carry out a joint science-based innovation project. The partners (project consortia) must include at least one commercial company from each country and one research institute from Switzerland.

This year’s call will be followed as two steps:
Pre-proposal call : 1 April to 15 May  2019
Full-proposal submission : 13 September 2019 for those positively evaluated on their pre-proposal    

Eligible funding areas

All topics are eligible but following topics are particularly appreciated: (1) Biotech; Medtech (2) Renewable Energy; Mobility (3) Digitalisation; Industry 4.0 ; IoT; AI (4) Additive Manufacturing  (5) Smart Materials / Innovative surfaces and (6) AR;VR

Each country will fund its eligible participants according to their national procedure and funding rules. Funding conditions and eligibility criteria may vary from one country to another. On request partners will be instructed in detail by KIAT and Innosuisse how to apply for funding.
