SNSF strengthens partnership with Israeli funding organisation
SNSF and ISF sign a joint memorandum of understanding
On the occasion of Israel's President Isaac Herzog’s visit to Switzerland, the SNSF and the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) signed a joint memorandum of understanding (MoU). The agreement marks the start of a long-term cooperation between the two funding organizations.
In a first step, cooperation between Swiss and Israeli scientists will be simplified through the introduction of the Lead Agency process. Through this process, the scientists only have to submit a single application to either SNSF or ISF for a joint project. In addition, the new MoU enables other forms of cooperation between SNSF and ISF such as joint conferences or the exchange of information and best practices.
