16.04.2024Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for 2025

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) extends scholarships to Swiss students and artists aspiring to pursue studies at Japanese universities as research students through the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program for 2025.

The Embassy of Japan in Switzerland and the Scholarship Service of swissuniversities conduct the preliminary screening which consists of a document inspection, written language examinations (Japanese, English) and an interview.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Swiss Nationality
• Age: Applicants must be born on or after April 2, 1990.
• Applicable for: Master’s, PhD students, and others.
• Field of Study: Applicants should select fields aligning with subjects offered for study and research at Japanese universities.
• Language: Applicants are expected  to be willing to learn the language during their study period.
• Deadline for application: June 3, 2024
