The Japanese National Institute of Informatics (NII) has launched its first call for their International Internship Program in 2024, inviting applications for on-site internships in Tokyo. This incentive program aims at giving interns the opportunity for professional and personal development by engaging in research activities under the guidance and supervision of NII researchers.

Key Details:

• Application for:  Master's and PhD students
• Funding: 5,700 JPY per day covering sojourn expenses
• Timeframe:  60 to 180 days, with a minimum requirement of 2 months and ensuring completion before the end of March 2025
• Internal deadline: 03.05.2024 
• Notification of Selection: Selected candidates will be notified by late June.
