Global Affairs

As early as 2005, the Humbold-Universität zu Berlin, the University of Vienna and the University of Zurich formed a strategic alliance in order to exchange ideas about the universities, to learn from and to help one another. The focus is on meetings at the presidential level, which take place two to three times a year and center around topics of university management, benchmarking and institutional learning.

All three universities are comprehensive universities with a similar profile and the same interests, which are mutually beneficial. Together they consider, for example, what work, teaching and research at the university of the future might look like.
