EURAXESS - Ten Doctoral Candidate Positions on Radicalization

The European Union has decided to fund a European Doctoral Network within
Marie Skłodowska-Curie called Coping with Varieties of Radicalization into
Terrorism and Extremism (VORTEX). This doctoral network will within shortly
announce ten PhD positions located at eight universities/research institutes
in seven European countries.

VORTEX’s overarching aim is to develop new evidence-based innovative
strategies to countering and preventing ideological and behavioural
radicalization. The project, which is divided into ten individual research
projects, one for each doctoral student, includes Malmö University (Sweden),
Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (Germany), the University of Marburg
(Germany), the University of Helsinki (Finland), the University of Turin
(Italy), the Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), the University of Oslo
(Norway), and Babeș-Bolyai University (Romania). Malmö University
coordinates the project. 

Eligible applicants are encouraged to write a short expression of interest and
send it together with a CV to kristian.steiner@mau.se
