08.09.2022Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

The Research Grants Council of Hong Kong is launching the Fourteenth Round of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme for the academic year 2023/24.

The Scheme aims to attract top international students to pursue PhD studies in Hong Kong’s world-class research universities. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$27,100 (approx. CHF 3,350) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,600 (approx. CHF 1,680) per year for a period of three years.  A total of 300 fellowships will be awarded for PhD studies commencing in the 2023/24 academic year. 

Online initial applications are accepted until 1 December 2022 (12:00pm Hong Kong Time (GMT + 8 hours)).
