25.03.2023National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic 2023/2024

The Call for applications for the National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic for the academic year 2023/2023 is now open. The programme supports mobility of international students, PhD students, university teachers, researchers, and artists in all fields of study for scholarship stays at higher education institutions and research organizations in Slovakia.

Duration of the stay:

• students: 1 – 2 semesters or 1 – 3 trimesters,
• PhD students: 1 – 10 months
• university teachers, researchers, and artists: 1 – 10 months

Amount of the monthly scholarship:

• University student of the second level of higher education: €400
• PhD student: €734
• University teacher/researcher/artist: €734 - €1'050

The scholarship is intended to cover international scholarship holders’ living costs, i.e. the costs related to staying in Slovakia (food, accommodation, etc.), during their study, research/artistic or teaching stay at universities and in research organizations in Slovakia.
