The Kyoto University Strategic Partnership Fund 2024 application is now open! The University of Zurich is in a strategic partner of Kyoto university. Therefore, researchers from the University of Zurich are eligible to apply together with a partner from Kyoto University.

The Strategic Partner Fund has two main programs: the General Program, which provides support for international research projects in collaboration with SP institutions, etc., and the ECR (early-career researcher) Program, which provides support for ECR exchanges with Strategic Parntner institutions.

• Number of funding awards: Approximately 20 projects in total (for both the General and ECR Programs combined)
• Project/travel period: July 2024 – early March 2025
• Deadline: 8 May 2024
