Mexican Government Excellence Scholarships 2026/2027
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), invites you to participate in the 2026 Call for Mexican Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreigners.
- Type: Short-term mobility scholarships for research stays at doctoral/postdoctoral level.
- Application for: Foreign nationals, including Swiss researchers, seeking to conduct research in Mexico.
- Field: All fields offered by the participating Mexican higher education institutions.
- Duration: Between 6 and 12 months
- Funding:

Monthly stipend: MXN $17,831.10 (subject to legal changes and paid monthly in arrears).
