Call for Applications for SP+ Fund 2026
Kyoto University provides support for projects and initiatives undertaken in collaboration with the strategic partners ("SP institutions"), including the University of Zurich. The call includes a "General Program" (1) and an "ECR Program"(2).
- Type: (1) Support for international research projects. (2) Support for Early-Career-Researchers exchanges.
- Application for: (1) Full-time faculty members at Kyoto University (professors, associate professors, lecturers, assistant professors) and project partners affiliated with an SP institution. (2) Full-time faculty members at Kyoto University (professors, associate professors, lecturers, assistant professors). Graduate students or reseacher scholar, if the application is submitted via their supervisor.
- Funding: (1) Up to 2,000,000 JPY per project (appx. 10 projects). (2) Up to 800,000 JPY per award (appx. 10 projects).
- Duration: July 2026 - March 2027
- Deadline: 24 April 2026
