UZH Global Affairs recently visited Sydney to reconnect with alumni, partners, exchange students, and Swiss stakeholders, marking the first visit in almost four years.
The visit highlighted the fact that despite the pandemic, the links between Australia and Switzerland have grown stronger over the last years, with collaborations in vital fields such as healthy longevity, biodiversity, climate change, as well as law and technology.
A networking event hosted by the Swiss embassy brought together UZH partners such as the University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney and Swiss stakeholders like the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate General. Furthermore, the UZH alumni community in Sydney participated in the event.
UZH is committed to further strengthening its successful collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Australia and looks forward to continuing to build strong partnerships with its alumni, partners, and stakeholders in Sydney and beyond.
